A week ago we talked about a new business that had just been set up and the marketing help we were giving.

Flatpack Assembly Suffolk now have their own website domain, at http://www.flatpack-assembly-suffolk.co.uk, a Twitter account and a Facebook Page that we are still developing.

Today, we verified their Google Places page as well.

Now we have a proper website address we can go ahead with adding them to more local and trade-specific directories to increase their Google presence, but it's worth noting that they already have several places on the first two pages of Google's search results, after less than two weeks in business!

Have a Cracking Christmas!

No, there's not a Nick Parks character in sight. This is a reference to the Crack On! Christmas Food Appeal.

Crack On! are planning to feed 500 people this Christmas in and around Bury St Edmunds and need donations and volunteers to assemble parcels for 23rd December.

Mark and Gary have made a great start and already have storage donated by Home Store and a growing band of volunteers - and a growing mountain of packets, jars and tins - but of course they need much, much more.

Our online marketing experiment continues to bring great results for us and for our clients.

One thing that regularly features on page one of Google for both Cinnamon Edge in Bury St Edmunds and The Utopia Centre in Littleport is our Gumtree ads.

Considering these are free, we'd be negligent if we didn't direct our clients towards using them.

Craigslist also produces quite good results, appearing a little lower in the listings, and consistent Twittering has so far got us as high as number two on page one, so that's a great tool, too.
