How We're Helping St Nicholas Hospice

...by taking part in the Towergate Accumulator Challenge

Cinnamon Edge joined the Towergate Challenge the moment it was mentioned. Jacqui jumped at the chance to help St Nicholas Hospice and we soon learned just how much help they need (£10,000 per day!)

We also learned how much work they do outside the Hospice itself. In fact, most of their work is with outpatients and home visits, including an invaluable bereavement conselling service.

We saw more about that on the BBC video we watched at the launch - there was hardly a dry eye in the room as we discovered just how precious the hospice's services are to so many people.

Here's a short video about the launch:

The Challenge itself is to take the £50 note that each of the competing teams received that evening and turn it into as much cash for the hospice as possible, using any legal and ethical means we can think of. We've thought of plenty.

You'll see more about our Fifty Quid Challenge, and how your business can benefit by donating, on the website at http://thefiftyquidchallenge.co.uk and also on the dedicated blog, at http://thefiftyquidchallenge.blogspot.com or you can always contact us here or via our main website, using the link on the right hand side of this page.

You can also read about Roy's 100 mile bike ride on Sunday, also in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care, at http://stronger-tomorrow.blospot.com.

But please think about donating, even if you don't want to take part in the challenge. St Nicholas Hospice Care is a priceless resource for people contemplating the final days of their lives, and for their loved ones.

Roy and Jacqui,

Launching The Fifty Quid Challenge

The Towergate Accumulator Challenge starts this week and Cinnamon Edge is one of the 30 local firms competing for a range of prizes.

Our contribution is based around a dedicated website called The Fifty Quid Challenge.

It's all in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care, Bury St Edmunds, and you can read about how your business can benefit by joining in at the new Fifty Quid Challenge blog, at http://thefiftyquidchallenge.blogspot.com.

There you'll see a video that begins to explain it and includes Jacqui getting into fisticuffs with one of our competitors!

There's also a more sober explanation of why you need to be a part of the challenge and a direct link to the Fifty Quid Challenge website itself.

But visit the blog, at http://thefiftyquidchallenge.blogspot.com to find out more.

Roy
